Merrimack
A largely residential town with a population of approximately 26,000, Merrimack is located 15 minutes from Manchester, and about an hour from mountains, the seacoast and Boston. Surrounding towns include Amherst, Bedford, Goffstown, Litchfield, Londonderry, Manchester, Milford and Nashua. The town is home to several recreational areas, such as Wasserman Park, the Merrimack YMCA and numerous youth programs. Its school system comprises six schools serving about 4,300 students.
